Shaun and Ayla Leave

Early in the morning Ayla And shaun left to collect the hire car and set off for Stranthorpe.
Calling in progress reports on the way. It only took 10 hours to get home.

Shaun watered everything checked the lizard and budgie, ate a meal and rested, then set off early in the morning for Brisbane to return the hire car to the airport by 8am.
The bus back to Stanthorpe took 5 hours.
This is one holiday we won't forget in a hurry; surviving long trips with wombats in the way, surviving long trips with teenagers, surviving long trips with Ayla,surviving long trips listening to techno dance music, ..
And now, surviving in a new city with 2 girls who miss home and daddy and embarking on job search. Relying on public transport ( only two more weeks and the car should be ready ) and the Internet for communication as the phone bill still isn't paid.
